IRV66 - acan it play Blu Ray DVD?

I just bought a Blu Ray DVD player, plugged it into the front HDMI on the IRV66 and I can see the DVD player menu but it won't play the disc through the TV. I can only get the player to work by plugging the HDMI cable directly into the TV. Is there a way to play it through the surround sound?

They do not play Blueray discs. I had an issue withy IRV66 unit not playing the video on the screen but could hear the sound. I took the output from the IRV66 and moved it to the HDMI 2 position on the TV and now works. I have no idea why it did that or what motivated me to do that but it works fine now. You might want to try that, if anything to at least scratch that off the list of troubleshooting.

Exact same thing for me. I could not get the video on the screen and tried all the inputs... HDMI 2 worked? They must be set up that way.

Hi Guys, to be clear so I can understand this.

When you plug your BluRay player into the HDMI 1 INPUT on the back of the iRV66 (or the Front INPUT) for that matter, the video does not pass through to the TV, but if you plug into the HDMI 2 Input on the back of the unit the video passes through properly.

Am I understanding this properly?

Thanks!

Paul and myself were referred to playing videos in general thru the factory DVD player. Not BluRay. I DVD played will only show video if you switch the source of your TV to HDMI 2.

I don't know about a blueray, but trying to get video signal from the IRV66 unit to the TV they way they hooked it up at the factory wasn't working so I took the HDMI cable from hdmi 1 on the back of the tv and plugged it in to hdmi 2 and then I got video feed. Seems to me more like a Furrion TV deal since I didn't change anything from the rear of the IRV66 unit
