iRV66 and Patrick ind

I posted that I had a iRV66 and not the iRV33 my manual is for. I called Patrick ind and talked to Todd who confirmed which unit I have and asked how to get a manual. Todd emailed me a manual within minutes of our conversation and gave Nelson's (Patrick Tech expert) VM I left a msg and got a call back within an hour.

I explained the problem with the speaker volume and problem playing video from an iPod. Nelson explained the volume difference between the inside speakers 5.1 dolby and the outside speakers (marine type) was caused by a difference in impedance not the iRV66 unit. Seems FR does not match (in all cases) the speakers they have the same wattage but not always impedance.

The reason the iPod video won't play is because I'm missing the component video cable from the back of the iRV to the TV. So I have some things to take care of. They are sure nice folks to deal with.

Yup. My iRV66 front HDMI input was bad and there was bad buzzing coming from the speakers. They sent me a replacement unit which fixed me right up. Great customer service.

I'm very glad they were responsive, but the manual they provided, does it actually make any sense? The paper manual is terrible! Maybe you could post it up in the Library section of the this site, I think that would be a real service!

They are the best! Real customer service there. Another one that is just as good is Progressive Industries, for all your electrical surge protection needs.
