Jansen Audio/Video System Automatically Comes On

I have a Jansen radio/DVD player within a 2015 CC which has consistently come on by itself at naturally all the worse times blasting music. I finally called the ASA Jansen tech line and was advised to put a flip switch on the power line to resolve which I have now done. Supposedly fluctuation of power was causing it to auto come on. Recently had the RV at a shop working another issue for two and naturally the batteries totally drained due to the Jensen issue.

I have it now where I can kill it dead finally to resolve the problem. I read some earlier threads back in 2012 people having this same issue. You would have thought Jensen would have figured out a fix on their power issue by now!

I had the same problem with the Jensen radio/DVD player on my 2013 Sanibel. The first fix was to install a cutout switch to kill power, which worked. The issue with the cutout was that the radio settings were lost after cutting off the power via switch. Shortly after, the unit would continue to search for a DVD, which was not inserted. Primetime sent me a replacement Jensen radio/DVD player. While waiting for the replacement, the problem (both) went away. I now have a replacement waiting for the existing one to quit.
