You may want to PM Jeff and Abbey because they're the ones with a Jensen.

Specs show the AWM 968 has bluetooth, so you can hook a transmitter to your TV and play the audio through the Jensen System.

Shouldn’t have to use Bluetooth. Forest river should have done it right. I’m a safety inspector so attention to detail is my forte. This is crazy the way forest river just let this (and I’m sure a lot of others) camper go out like that. We pay ALOT of money for these. They should do it right.

But your right, may just have to be done that way. I got ahold of Jensen and hopefully Monday they will call me.

That said, have seen a number of them wired with "A" Front and "B" Front as the four inside speakers and "C" Rear as the outside speakers.
Probably depends on who was installing that day, as well ....

On mine “A” is for the living room and kitchen. “B” is turning the speakers in the bedroom. “C” is for the 6 speakers outside.

If the Jensen has an AUX input with an RCA, and the TV has an RCA output you can direct wire, of course. Most automotive style head units I have seen use mini phone plug (3.5mm/) inputs on the face for MP3 players. A converter cord would be the answer for that.

Yea they both have everything. Maybe there’s a switch or more than likely it’s probably a setting I’m not seeing or not doing.
Maybe someone would be extra cool and say hey bro pm me your number and I’ll FaceTime you and try and help. Lol. I don’t know, just a thought.

NOTE- these posts moved from a different thread about a different issue.
(it's never a good idea to hijack a thread because the conversation gets mixed and difficult to follow.)
I'm pretty sure the Jensen has a setting to play those RCA inputs.
You are running dual cable from the TV output to the Jensen input- right??
It's probably not a switch on the faceplate but rather a setting in a menu.
Much like you'd go to your TV and hit menu to change the input for it.
Hopefully someone will respond with the exact answer.
I don't have a jensen manual in front of me right now....

May be a setting on the tv . We have a Jensen sound system (different model) and set it on hdmi then have to go into tv settings and change it there as well. Drove me nuts first time out until I figured it out. We have a Furrion tv

I found the Jensen AWM968 manual here--
https://www.lancecamper.com/docs/man...Electrical.pdf
And found this on page 4
Auxiliary Input Function
Press the
AUX
button (7) to directly access auxiliary input modes (AUX 1 IN and AUX 2 IN)
from any other mode when a portable audio devic
e is connected to the unit. To connect a
portable audio device, insert a standard 3.5mm (audio line output or headphone output from
your portable CD / MP3 / iPod or other media player) into the
AUX A/V IN
(AUX 2 IN)
connector (21) on the front of the unit or the AUDIO IN (AUX 1 IN) on the back of the unit (see
“Wiring” on page 3).
So press the Aux button for aux1 which is the rear audio input on the jensen. Assuming the TV is putting out sound it should play thru the house speakers.

Failing all the discussion previously you need to test if the TV is actually putting out audio on those audio out RCA jacks.
Do you have any other device you can temporarily plug the TV into to
test the audio out??
Someone posted earlier their Furion TV needed to be set correctly to use
the audio out jacks....
All the TVs I've had - the audio out jacks were not switchable. They were always on but who knows what they've done with yours? Have you read the TV manual to see if it mentions turning the audio out jacks off/on?

Yea I’ve tested everything and I’ve went through the settings on the tv. Only settings on the radio are the hard buttons. I’m just not putting a combination of the correct settings for it to work.

Check connections from TV to soundbar. Just some basics. Turn sound bar on. Turn TV on. My sound bar, select source TV. Turn volume up on TV a little. Turn volume up on sound bar. Select speakers. Hope this helps.

I posted this issue somewhere else here. I can't find any way. I happen to have a Bose Solo that I'm going to use via optical. A shame FR didn't bother to set this up at all!
