Jensen radio noise

Hello to all. I have a Salem 22rks, new only 3 months. The audio from the radio, Jensen AWM970, whether AM, FM, CD, or DVD, either on battery or 110Vac, is noisy, with a low hum that is annoying. Dealer replaced radio once, but they said they really couldn't hear it. I think they just replaced the unit because they were hoping I would go away. So, has anyone else experienced this noise? Fix?

We have the same unit in our trailer and there is no noise. You might just go to Radio Shack and get a little noise suppression piece; they're cheap. You might have some electrical interference.

Thanx for your reply. I may try to isolate the camper power by plugging radio directly into a 12 volt bench supply.

RF interference. Just get the noise filter and you will be good to go.
