Laptop connection to ZX600 system

I just picked up a new Toshiba Laptop.. On my laptop I have HDMI out and VGA out, I would like to stream netfilx sometimes for the kids the camper and maybe use the laptop on the 22inch screen. I have the Venturer 22inch LCD/HD TV and concertcrap ZX600. Whats the best way to hook this up? Can I use the HDMI? Or do I have to use the VGA out? Also do I have the run an audio line if I go VGA out?

Thanks,
Chris

Smile Depends

What does the back of your TV look like?
-> Do you have an HDMI input on the TV?
-> Yes - Just plug it in and use the TV Audio out to go to your Concertone - High Def Surround Sound !!!!
-> No - Does your TV have a PC input? 15 pin female
-> Yes - Get a LONG 15 pin male to male VGA extension cord and hook your computer to the TV. Get a male mini stereo to male mini stereo audio cord (same length as VGA extension cord) and connect audio out of computer to PC audio input of TV) High Def Surround Sound !!!!
-> No - Short answer - can't do it
Long answer - you can BUT
you need to know a LOT about
video and you would have never asked
this question.

REAL issue - What Internet service do you use!
I NEED TO KNOW!
Every service I have looked at has ONEROUS restrictions on streaming video. With huge surcharges on going over the plan bytes per month. The average streaming movie (2 hours) is around NINE GIGABYTES of download.
Since the best plan I could find is very expensive and capped at 5 Gigabytes a MONTH, you can see my interest.

Thanks.. I have pretty much every connection except HDMI.. So looks like I will have to go VGA with audio cable. Know anywhere on the net I can get a good deal on these?
