LCD Thermostat glitch?

I have a single zone LCD Dometic stat (fan/cool/ furnace). AC is Dometic 15k. AC & heat operates ok. When last using heat I decided to change the temperature differential from 2 degrees to 1 degree to avoid larger swings in inside temperature. After reprogramming the stat, when the stat calls for heat the furnace starts up and there is a noise in the AC and the fan attempts to start and then cycles off. This continues to occur until I shut the stat off. I changed the program back to the original setting and seems to be operating ok. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what's going on? Thanks

Did you try initializing the thermostat once you changed the programming?

Did not. If I understand the instructions correctly, if I initialize it, it will return to factory default which is 2 degrees differential. This is where I have it at now. If there's a possibility that this will resolve the problem, I'LL give it a try. Wondering if anyone has successfully changed the differential to 1 degree successfully with these components. Also of note, the AC unit was replaced just before I bought this trailer. Is there any chance that there could be a wiring mistake when the unit was replaced?

There may be a possibility that it got hooked up wrong, but if that happened it wouldn't work with either deadband. I think it's a thermostat glitch.

OK. Thanks. I'LL just leave it at the current differential until I have a chance to check out the stat further. I may experiment with initialization and see if anything changes.
