Leaking AC - Mini light 2304

I was cleaning inside of camper after our last trip and I noticed that the ceiling around the edge of the air conditioner looks curled op in spots around the base it's very hard no water stains is this normal any thoughts or am I dealer bound when we brought it home the forum said the bolts that hold unit down were loose took it in and my bolts were loose and they tightened them down any thoughts?

Remove the air handler and look to see if the unit was properly torqued when it was installed. There are 4 yellow "torque tabs" that should "just" touch the roof when the air conditioner is tightened properly.

Mine has those ridges around the base of the unit inside as well. I have never had a leak in my unit and I think it is normal.

I would drop that unit and check.
Those ripples look like water damage to me.

i did take the cover off and check during a bad rain storm and didn't feel any water. Would those ridges around the cover be hard if it was water?

It can be if the wood has swollen.

I just saw this thread after seeing the exact same hard wrinkles on the edges of air conditioner on my 2012 Roo. Mine looks exactly the same as the photo. It is also a Coleman Mach. There does not seem to be any water damage or softness or discoloring.

Now I am curious if others look the same and whether or not it is caused by water? Also, has anyone removed the cover on a Coleman Mach to access the bolts to tighten? It looks like it involves more than just removing a few screws.

Yea, my unit looks just like those pics and I studied it pretty closely. It's not water damage. The cover seems pretty tight in places and seems to "dig" into the ceiling causing the ceiling material to look like that.
