LED lighting question

Read here from many that they replaced the wedge bulbs in TT with LED's. I got one at Lowe's to try on a double ceiling fixture, replaced one side. It appears to be white, the original is yellow light, but not that much brighter.

Still, I ordered a handful of 'em from Amazon. Came from China!!! I put two in at another ceiling fixture, and it seems too dim. Wife said "stop doing that, the yellow ones are brighter!".

This is contrary to what I read here. They are cooler, and whiter, but less bright.

Bad bulbs? bad idea?

I replaced all my bulbs with LED and they are brighter

A few tips I learned

Higher the lum number the brighter the light

Look at the color number. The higher the number the cooler and white. The lower the color number the light gets warmer aka more yellow

Check out the RV Geeks 2 videos on RV LED lighting(links below). I ordered some from M4 Products and should be delivered today so have no input yet. I went all in and ordered enough for the entire TT, hopefully I don't regret that.

What bulbs did you use, I am using the flat panels with 48 led's. They are brighter than the stock bulbs. I replaced my bulbs to save power because I boondock.

Ditto on M4 Products. I ordered 12 of the 1141's and replaced all of my incandescent bulbs and they are working great. Same warm color light and same or slightly increased brightness but with virtually NO heat on the fixture. Use the RV Geeks discount code and they will cut another 5% off. I am very happy with the LED's. Order them and you won't regret it. Just do a little research first and pick the color that you want so that you will be happy with the light.
