Led replacement strip

Most of my lights are out on the led strip outside. I think the lights are just held there by adhesive and should be easy to replace.

I was going to put up yellow lights with the thoughts that this may reduce some of the bugs at night.

Question, what type of light to use 3528 or 5050??

Thanks to all for the great support on this web site.

Why not get a multicolor strip and have the option?

My 5er came with a white-only strip on the side under the awning but I'm going to put a multicolor out on the awning tube for color and dimming options.

IT depends what you want to do. the 5050 is a larger chip so with a single color it will be brighter than the 3528. If you are looking for multi-color then the 5050 has all three colors built into one chip so the you get a more uniform color, the 3528 has only one color per chip so you need a red, green, and blue chips to get different colors. with the 3528 you can set the lights up in chase mode where as most 5050 don't do this.

Thanks for the information. I found the 3528 lights a little less expensive, and will get them. My lights only lasted about a year. It is cheaper to replace them for me than to take the trailer in for service.
