LED tape lights?

I really need to know how which led lights I need to use for accent lighting under the kitchen island and dressers in the bedroom. What works best. What all do I need and can I splice the led lights directly into a 110 wire. Do I actually have to have a controller.

You can buy water proof 12 volt led strip lighting and use anywhere. I have them inside with a remote control box. Just use a key fob to turn on/off, bright/dim.

You can run them from 120v with converter which drops down to12v. Better yet is to tap into a12v circuit so you do not take up space on a wall plug. The strips come in 16' rolls and you can cut them to size. Pricing should be about,$1.50 per foot on Amazon. You can solder the wiring on and then hot glue the wiring in place as needed. Small remote control packs are about$12.00 for a pack of three. They all run on the same frequency so one remote will control all the receivers'.I tapped into 12v from the existing 12v under cabinet lights. Also ran led's inside the storage cabinets with magnetic switches that turn on when you open the cabinet.
