Lights out?

Is there a way to turn down or turn off all the blue lights on the ZX700? I'm covering them with a towel so I can watch a DVD they are so bright.

We have a similar problem with a GE Coffee Maker. It lights up the whole room with just the clock. Why in the world it needs to be so bright I'll never know. We either cover it with a towel or I just unplug it.

This thing lights up like a runway at a airport. Probably 12-15 lights shining and you have to look right at it to watch the TV. What were they thinking? Maybe I just answered the question.

Actually depending on the mounting location you would not be looking right at it...
We have it on a list - sorry for your inconvenience!

Ours is up and to the left of the TV and we don't even notice it. But I guess it is like noise at night some people are really bothered and can't sleep.

That's why I drink beer - the light is INSIDE the fridge
