Lippert level up battery replacement

How do I replace the batteries in my lippert level up lite levelers? I got the plugs removed and found the two screws but they are sticky tapped to the travel trailer. I can not find any grove to pop off the covers. Don't want to pulled the off nbut would like to take the batteries out so they don't corrode.

Battery Replacement on a level up lite

I just figured this out with a little trial and error...

Remove the two caps on either side of the device with a small screwdriver or pin. Use a square bit to remove the two interior screws. Next, use a flat bit screwdriver to gently pry the entire thing off the RV - it is held on with plumbers putty. The battery door is on the back - two more small phillips head screws and you are in. You are going to need two AAA batteries. Also watch out for a small black square gasket under the door - super easy to lose.

Mine had some corrosion but nothing a bit of dry baking soda and a slightly damp old toothbrush can't fix.

Hope this helps!

Replace them with bubble levels and forget about them. Not sure about everyone else but mine has such a wide range the green lights will stay on showing level, that it could be a few inches out.I put the old fashion bubble levels on and its more accurate and just as easy.IMO
