Lippert Level Up Problems

We bought a used Silverback 33RL one month ago and have had nothing but problems with the Lippert Level Up System. When we left camp today I was stuck with the right middle and rear legs still on the ground. Lippert told me to reset the solenoid circuit breaker because none of the legs responded to anything i did. I couldn't identify the solenoid. They told me to call Cedar Creek. Now 2 hours later they still have not returned my call. I am stuck.

Since this forum only allows one photo to be uploaded I'm going with my best option with the hope to identify what it is I am looking at and, maybe to ID the solenoid circuit breaker.

Thank you for your advice.

Don't see a pic. Have you tried resetting by taking the ground off the battery?

Here's a pic of my hydraulic pump/valves. I believe the solenoid is the blue cylinder with the black and yellow wires. I see no inline fuse or circuit breaker. There is a circuit breaker for the level up in the main panel. At least it's labeled as such. Occasionally my Level Up will flip out and and I'll either turn it off/on or use the battery disconnect to reset the system. Good luck!

Lippert Problems & Confusion

I'm still stuck with my Lippert Level Up. Cedar Creek was too busy to return my call some 5 hours ago. Maybe they can return my call Monday. Maybe not.

These are the photos I took of my Lippert "Mess". Can give me to a clue as to what is what!? I need to learn to reset the solenoid circuit breaker.

Thank you for your help.

In your first picture there is a round black device with a sticker that says 'manual drive'. I've attached a pic of the manual that says it can be used for retracting hydraulic landing gear and maybe slide out rooms. Hope you can see it well enough to read it, if not let me know. Says to peel off the sticker and use a hex bit in a drill to raise/lower. In your third picture looks like there are a red and a black plastic container that may have fuses in them. If i was you I would of already called a mobile tech. If you have a warranty they should reimburse you.... Hopefully. Sorry I'm not more help. Hope you have plenty of refreshments left!!

Just curious, does your control panel say anything? So I'm assuming when you hit the up arrow until you get to auto retract and hit enter, nothing happens? Sometimes my auto retract doesn't bring up all the jacks but I can hear it trying ( the pump comes on). Then I go to manual mode, select the retract button and use the appropriate button (front or rear) to bring up the lazy jack. But if you aren't hearing anything then that's a whole nother problem.

I appreciate your help very much.

Now that you bring my attention to it I can see the "Manual Drive" sticker in photo #1. I know I won't forget that ever.

The red box in the third photo has a fuse in it and it is intact.

I am interested in knowing what the white switch is that is at about 4:00 to the sticker in the first photo. I suspect it is the circuit breaker for the solenoid.

When I turn the control panel on it says "Ready Jacks Down". All I get is a "click" when I press most keys. The motor never makes a noise. Sometimes I get a message saying something was "disabled". Very frustrating.

Fortunately we bought an extended warranty. I didn't expect to use it so soon. Hopefully the warranty works.

Thank you.

You are welcome! Sorry I'm not more help. I can't find anything on my system that resembles your white switch. Most of my wiring goes to what looks like different relays. I also don't have the fuse that you have. My only circuit breaker is in the main electrical panel with all the others . The only time mine has failed to function similar to yours was when the batteries were very low (stinking dealer worked on my rig and then didn't use the battery disconnect like I asked). But the display said low voltage.

The mobile techs I've used have either dealt with the extended warranty directly and I didn't have to pay, or they got pre-authorized and I got reimbursed later.

When you get this fixed up PLEASE let us know what the problem was and how it was fixed. I'm also trying to learn all I can about the level up. So far we have been using ours for 4 years and love it, but it does have its occasional glitches. Good luck!

I have uploaded two PDF files that you may find useful, especially the Level Up Troubleshooting Guide. They've been no help to me so far, but they might help you in the future.

I will update this post when I have the system running again.
