Looking for heater advice

I have a Suburban NT-20S heater in a Rocker Roo we just purchased last year. We love it but the only thing not working is the heater. When I try to fire it up nothing happens for about 10 seconds and then the fuse blows. I took it out and, sure enough, there was a mud dauber nest on the fly wheel. I cleaned it up and it still blows the fuse. I'm thinking the blower fan needs to be replaced. The fan blade doesn't turn as freely as I think it should which makes me suspect the blower motor bearings. Before I buy a fan motor I wondered if anyone could confirm for me that I'm on the right track.

New to you or "new" new.

If still under warranty I would investigate that.

If not; it sounds like you are on the right track. Running the motor with a mud nest in it couldn't have been good for the motor.

Not familar with that specific heater but I'd disconnect the blower motor and power it from a direct 12V source to check just the motor before I'd attempt to order a replacement.
