Looking for suggestions

Hi everyone, my family and I just purchased a 2014 Forest River wildwood t27tdss. I'm looking into replacing the existing speakers because two of them are blown. They are 6" speakers, but I want to upgrade but don't want to put in too much work. Has anyone replaced speakers and could point me in the right direction.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. I'm sure someone on the forum has done and upgrade you may try using the search function at the upper right of this page and put in "speaker upgrade"

On my old TT I changed them out. It was really easy.

First pop off/unscrew the cover and measure the diameter of the speaker. Or you can pop off/unscrew the cover and then remove one speaker and measure the diameter of the hole. Removing the speaker is easy, mine were just held in with 2-3 screws per speaker. Unhook the wire connections on the back and the speaker drops right down.

Once you've measured the hole and speaker just find out with the same/similar dimensions and install it in reverse order you just took the old one out. Real easy.

I use Sony speakers for the inside and marine speakers for the outside. if replacing the outside speakers too, caulk around the edges once re-installed to seal it back up. I used pro-flex caulking on the outside and never had a problem in the next year and a half when I traded that TT in for my 5er.
