Looking to replace Broken Entertanment

Been looking at all the different Rv entertainment systems and not really finding much for choices. Concertone seems to be way over priced and that's what was in my unit and it went bad. Jenson has 3 units priced reasonable AWM968 and AWM975 and AWM965 all priced around $200 to $250. Then there is Magnadyne RV5090 also around $200. Then ASA Electronics (AWM975) again same price range. These seem to be the only ones I could find to look at if there are any others Please post and any input on the ones I mentioned would be appreciated.

I replaced my older Concertone with this one off of ebay. I have had it for six months and we use it all day every day.

Very good features and very good sound. Granted I also changed out my cheap concertone speakers too with Kickers.

Really has a lot of nice features and options including 5.1 surround.

There are two models depending on which opening you have...if you have a concertone then most fit the larger opening.

The only thing it does not have is Blue Ray but I have never seen an RV unit with it. Seems like you have to go to a home style setup and I do not have the room.

I was a bit iffy at first but had good reviews and after six months of almost nonstop use....no issues.

Really has very good sound especially if you have or add a powered subwoofer and good speakers.

Wish the stupids at Forrest River wired the four ceiling speakers for surround instead of just tying them together in the ceiling into one zone...would have made wiring them for true surround possible but sadly Forrest Rivers wiring sucks....really pathetic work.

Anyway...a very nice looking and operating unit...has all the inputs you need as as well as 2 HDMI.

Not going to get into which unit is best..they are all made in China so mute point but atleast this one does not have the horrid failures that the stock ones have.

I looked for 4 months at EVERY model available..spent hours googling. One thing that may affect what you choose is the opening and how much space there is to modify. See I could not go to a car head unit as the space was wrong. My older ckts has the opening and no extra room width or height so needed a direct sized replacement. Your space may differ.

There is another RV system you missed but can't find the link.

Thats my experience...yours may be differ as may others.

I would not be surprised if it was a "China Copy" of a Gen 3.

May be a knockoff of the Genesis...not a huge stretch since China makes it all..probably just have a knockoff line across the street from the factory that makes the Genesis..or probably in the same building.

Best system I've had was a Genisis with Bluetooth. I could even talk on the phone through it. The Bluetooth was strong enough that I could stream music from my phone and operate the volume from outside. I'm planing to change that out in the trailer I have now.

I installed a AWM975 20 months ago and it no longer works. ASA Electronics will not tell me where I can get it fixed and offered me a $30 discount. I am also looking for one that will last.

Good post. We have the Genisus now and I am unimpressed. Must admit I am a big fan of Sony and Bose equipment. Can't find that for a Tt though. Wondering if it is poor speakers in the camper and not the receiver it self. Please update posts if you do any modifications.

Over the years I've learned that you can take a cheap stereo and put high end speakers with it and it will sound like a high end stereo and the reverse is also true. That's where I start is with the speakers.

Our FW came with the Furrion DV1200. We love it. Have had no problems with it and the sound is very good quality.
