Low voltage

I have a 1993 american eagle and voltage has dropped to 6.8 volts to circuit board on a dometic frig,works good if i jump it to 12 volts,i dont know where to look why i have the drop in voltage,any help please

Need a lot more info. Is your system the original 4- 6Volt deep cycle batteries? How old are they? Sounds like one shorted sulfated. Do you get 12V+ when you are connected to shore power? You may have more than one issue ( dead converter and bad batteries). I would check to see if converter is providing 13+ volts when connected to shore power. I would also take the batteries to an auto parts store and have the batteries checked.

it is 4 6 volt batt i have 12 volt to everything except the frig,when i run jumper to frig ,it works fine,its like the wire to circuit board has just lost voltage somewhere, i dont know where it comes from ??

I have 12 volt to everything except frigs circuit board,i can jump it to 12 volt from my batterys and it works fine,i just know where the 12volt comes from

23 year old rig. I'd look at the connections to the fridge and where ever the 12V supply wire originates from. I'd bet you've got a corroded connection somewhere.

i agree,just cant trace the wire where it connects to 12volt

OK Much better. I would just run a new wire from converter to Fridge 12VDC connection.

found my problem,i live in it full time and my starting battery had lost charge,i guess 110 doesnt keep them charged,frig working normal now.
