LP/CO alarm

We have a 2109 MiniLite. Our LP/CO alarm went off 4 times in the middle of the night. Each time I was able to stop the alarm and ventilate the trailer until we had a green light indicator. Ten minutes later it sounded again - twice. I closed the LP at the tank. The alarm went off again later. The next night we ran the fan all night with no alarm. Do we have a problem, CO, LP, ????

Probably not an LP problem if you shut off at the tank and ventilated. The LP/CO alarm also has a low battery voltage warning. Are you running on only battery and what's your battery voltage? Are the terminals clean and tight?

Do you have a dog? Sometimes they will set them off

True... an LP/CO detector is basically a flammable gas detector (CO is just partially oxidized carbon and will combine with an additional oxygen to form CO2). Before finding a better food, our dog had a flatulence problem and would set off the one in the bedroom if he slept under it... colonic methane is a flammable gas (as countless YouTube videos will demonstrate).

Don't know how old it is but I had to replace mine after 4 years. The battery is low or it is malfunctioning.
