Magic Chef Microwave died

We have a 22" over the range Microwave. Magic Chef MCO2212AR. Our rig is 8 years old and this is the 2nd microwave we've had. Now this one is acting up. We replaced it 4 years ago and it cost 430.00 if we installed it (which we did). We cannot find an over the range microwave that fits into our area. Current microwave is 22.2 inches wide. Max area is 25 inches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a site with RV Microwaves. I saw one that's 24" wide. That might be as close as you may get but you could always add a 1/2" trim on each side. Good luck, Charlie

The only difference in an RV microwave is the venting. Most household microwaves vent out the top while RV types vent from the front.

"IF" you can find a small microwave that vents out the front, it will work just fine. Or more likely, you'll find one that can be adapted to vent out the front.

I see that you posted this question a few years ago. I am in the same boat. I own a 2009 Forest River Sandpiper and my Magic Chef MCO2212AR microwave is dying on me. I cannot find ANYTHING that size that is for over the range. I love this microwave, since it also serves as my hood light and fan. So what did you guys end up getting to replace it?
