We have a new 2013 SunSeeker 3050S MH with the Magnadyne M4-LCD in the dash. I've been able to update the maps to the latest version but I'm having an issue with the firmware.
I've downloaded the
M4V18YJAP510OSWDT10R.zip file from the Magnadyne website and set up 3ea 4Gb SD cards with the OS, AP and WDT files on their respective chips.
I'm following the instructions (pulled the unit from the dash, removed the power plug, pulled the maps chip from the rear SD holder and plugged the OS SD card in.
When I plug the power connector back in and turn the radio on as the instructions instruct, it stares at me with the normal functions available and no update starts. I've tried it with the files extracted onto the cards and with the files in a folder on each card. I've got the step by step instructions on my iPad right in front of me and am following them to a tee!!
Any advice? The only thing I can think of is that maybe the firmware is already up to date but I can't find anything on how to determine the currently installed firmware revision level!
