Magnadyne M4-LCD not saving info

We took delivery of a 2014 FR Solera in August. The Magnadyne is proving to be less than desirable on many levels. We had an XM tuner installed and proceeded to preset our favorite stations on all three bands. When we turned off the ignition and then returned later ALL the presets, along with the time, were gone! I haven't found any troubleshooting guidelines for this problem and hope someone can offer a solution.
Having successfully used different GPS systems in our vehicles for several years we are very frustrated with the Magnadyne GPS operation(or lack of). It doesn't update of save when we enter new addresses.
Any suggestions are welcome!

It's not wired/installed correctly. There are normally two power wires. One to the ignition to turn it off when the ignition is off and a second "always-hot" wire for things like clock and memory.

I would take it back to the dealer and have them do it under warranty.
