Maiden Voyage Question #3 (Backup Camera)

Left Couch's in Ohio yesterday about noon. 2 hours into the trip, along I-75 or somewhere........the backup camera that had been working fine, showing me the road behind me............went dead.

The monitor is not 'dead'.........it has power, and the menu button brings up the choices. The blue light is flashing. Furrion backup camera.

It gave a red letter error message that said "ID LOST" and went dark.

I read troubleshooting in book. Tried all that it said. The issue seems to be no power to the camera. But all I can do is plug in the 12v plug correctly, which I've done. I crawled up on top and adjusted the antenna so it was vertical, which the book said. I held the 'pair' button 2 seconds, which it said. I made sure the truck parking lights were 'on' and trailer running lights were lit.

Nothing else I can think of...........is the camera just dead? Is this a fairly normal event, if so??????

????

Thanks.

Appears I'm alone on this one.
