Well, another successful project completed. I have a Tripp Lite 3000PV inverter in my truck. This is a heavy duty unit with remote , powered by two 250 amp fuses and my 200 amp alternator, and 2) 00 welding cables each for positive and ground, and had wired the new Toy Hauler from the transfer switch so I could plug in and run the AC, refrigerator, and microwave while on the road without the generator, but the inverter was going into overload when the AC would come on! Damned!
Did some research, and found this Micro Air Easy Start unit, and it does just what they claim it does, drops the start up amps by as much as 70%! Installed it last night and starts with no effort now, even with the fridge running! Little pricey, but worth every penny and to good to go now! Cool trailer for heading to Florida, Arizona, or South Carolina where the kids are! 👍
