Microwave just a timer?
First trip in new trailer. Microwave appears to turn on with panel counting down but nothing happening inside. Turntable not turning. Fan not fanning. Cooker not cooking. Reset breaker. No joy. Any ideas? Thanks!

A picture or brand name and Number would help. It is no different than your home MW. It does, in fact, have just a timer function. It also operates as a Microwave. There is probably about 6 programmed times. Push one and it will go. There is also a timed cook button. Push it then add your desired time then push cook. (Or some form of that explanation). Ask the DW or DGF

Looks like it's time to visit the dealer.
Did you reference the owners manual? perhaps a FAQ page?

Some MW's can be used as a timer only. You need to supply the Manufacturers name and model number so we can help, this info can be found on the inside of the door frame. A picture of the control panel can help too.

Microwave just a timer?
This happened to ours as well. I solved the issue. Turn your microwave on and apply a bit of pressure on the top of right side of the door. If it starts working, the metal hinge on the inside of the door (right side) needs to be bent slightly. The metal piece is not contacting the inside of the microwave to “turn on” (edited)

We had this happen once, if the door trick doesn't work, check your power at the plug the microwave plugs into, could be low voltage there. We had the low voltage, it was a bad plug.

I agree. If the frame behind the door has a hole with a metal tab then the protrusion on the door is not pushing enough on the microswitch inside that hole. The same can happen if the MW has a plunger type switch.
