Microwave Replacement

I’m needing to replace the microwave in our 2011 Flagstaff. It did not have one in the unit when we bought it.

Does anyone know what size we need and can we just pick one up somewhere like Wal Mart or Target?

I'm guessing you bought used and the micro was removed Measure the hole and go to Walmart or Target. Nothing special about RV's. You will need to install the mounting bracket on the back wall and drill two holes in the bottom of the upper cabinet. And run a 15/20 amp circuit if you don't have one.

There is already an outlet in the box and like a metal surround set up.

Is there a certain cubic foot that is supposed to go in there?

Thanks

Measure the opening top to bottom and front to back. Get new microwave to fit the opening.

Whatever will fit. The metal surround sounds like a trim piece. Doesn't need to be there.

Also while at Walmart or Target, pickup a thick pool noodle. You want to cut a section to used as a wedge to keep the glass turntable inside your new microwave from bouncing around and breaking while driving down the road.
