Mine was a very hot item!

This past Sunday I installed my battery in my trailer and hauled it to where I keep it during the summer months. I plugged in the main 30 amp cord and had the stereo playing. On Tuesday I went over with the tv and wired it up it worked fine. I went to play it through the Concertone ZX500 and turned it on and I got static. I had it on a radio channel. Then I smelled an electronic burning smell. I quickly took off the bezel, unscrewed the unit from the wall and unplugged all the connectors and antenna The smell was coming from the Concertone ZX500 radio unit. Something went bad. Same hook-up as last year. I am now trying to get the issue resolved as it is still under warranty. If I had gone for coffee and left the radio on I might have lost my trailer due to a fire, plus my families business warehouse that it was parked next to. I will try another Concertone I know there are some problems with some of them. I am going to try out the new ZX690 in the hopes that they finally got it right. My ZX500 is still under warranty until the end of May 09 so I'm hoping that they will help me out. Howard PageSeabrook,NH

Yeah, they don't even mess around with trying to fix those things; they just replace them.
