Modified sine wave inverter question

Is anyone using a modified sine wave inverter to power their TV and satellite box when dry camping. If so is it working ok.

I am currently using a 1000 watt Modified Sine inverter and it works everything on the camper that I think should be powered by 2 75 AH batteries.

I ruined (my fault) a 2500 watt modified sine wave inverter, and when I was using it it also powered everything BUT the microwave and Air Conditioner.

Not sure if it was the small battery bank (only 150 AH total) or modified sine on the microwave and NEVER even tried to crank the AC.

Both Modified sine inverters ran my desktop computer, TV, DVD player, phone chargers, laptop, iPad chargers etc with no issues.

The coffee maker was a bust since the 1500 watts killed my batteries before the coffee was done.

You can, just remember to throw the converter circuit breaker OFF. If you fail to do so, it will run your batteries down quickly by trying to charge the batteries while running off them.

Initially I used an extension cord to route inverter power inside, but now, I have a dedicated 15 amp circuit from the inverter to two Duplex outlets; one at the entertainment center and one in the forward compartment for use watching TV/DVDs/charging laptop outside.
