Mounting my TV

I have a new 39FDEN and there is a sticker on the wall indicating to mount the TV here. What type of backer is behind there and how big is it. I am hesitant to make a hole unless I know what is there. I have an articulated type mount for a 32" LCD.

I’m not familiar with your model but can you post a picture and tell us where the wall is(exterior or interior)? I have mounted TV's in RV's in places where there wasn’t much wall backing and it works out fine. The trick is building out the backing with plywood so weight of the TV is displaced across a larger area and the fasteners don’t go through the wall.
