moving radio antenna

I'm mounting solar panels and need to move my antenna on my 2012 Surveyor. My thought was to do a male/male adapter mounted in a panel of aluminum and screw it into the existing mount site(with dicor to seal) and then run a surface wire over to the new mounting site where I put the new antenna.

The problem is, the connector is odd and nobody seems to be able to identify it.

Anybody?

They use to sell extensions for car ant. that were placed on a rear fender. Try Google for ant. wire extender.

Called Jensen...they were no help. It appears that this will be a Motorola connector on the other end, the Jensen page indicates that the cable is 15 ft long, however the connector is not an f-type as in the pics there...rather it is some kind of SMA.

The cable type looks to be RG59 which is a lot like RG6 'tv cable' type cable, however it has a smaller insulator. Some f type coax (RG6) connectors say they work with RG59 cable.

So...it looks like I'll convert it to a normal f type (RG6/RG59) connector coming out of the RV and try to adapt to a surface mount f-type antenna male to male connector on the roof. To that I can attach an F-type surface mount antenna.
