My concert tone problems

Hi guys, I have been enjoying my new 392FLFB for a few months now. Got cable installed today and got the system all set up for TV. Well it seems that there is a couple problems.

1 - The remote does not work anymore. Turned the stereo on one day and then i could not do anything with the remote anymore. I have replaced the batteries in the remote, I have unplugged the head unit, have removed the fuse, have pushed the power button a few times while the unit is unplugged and un-fused.

2 - I only get the right audio channel from the entertainment area. I have tried the game, cable, audio, and ipod connection, switched the AV1 and AV2 on the head unit and I only get the right channel. If i run a cable across to the head unit and plug in directly I get both channels and it works very nice. I took the audio box out of the wall to inspect it was a solid box on the back side so I just put it back.

So what is the suggestions for my problems? I tried the common fixes for the remote but it still does not work. Also I do not know how to replace the AV cables from the entertainment area to the stereo.

I have the entertainment area on the front side of the patio doors

then the stereo is on the rear side of the patio doors

Stupid question but did you press the button on the remote that has ZX700 above it? I had the exact same problem while in Ontario and that was what was wrong.

Part 2 sounds like a wire connection came loose behind the unit.

You can check by removing the bezel (pop it off) and then removing the mounting screws. Slide the unit out and wiggle the connections and see if the sound comes back on.

Then it sounds like warranty time.

If you have a meter check from the AV input panel to the cable ends behind the head unit. You will probably need to put a cable in the panel and then check center to center outer to outer. It sounds like a bad cable from the box to the head unit or there is a cable disconnected somewhere in the floor or wall depending on were it comes through. I take it listening to the radio works fine though?

yup radio is fine, cd is fine, etc etc. just when listening to things from the entertainment area is the problem. I noticed the cables going down the back into the wall of the entertainment area are black yet the ones that come out to where the stereo is are clear coated so you can see the wire under it like fancy car audio cables. Also noticed that there is quite a bit of cable rolled up and stuck down the wall at the entertainment area... now I highly doubt id be lucky enough for it to come just down and under the trailer and then back up..

I bet you are going to find an RCA plug undone where it is routed through as it sounds like they just used extension cables.
