Need A CO2 Expert

We have a brand new Flagstaff 21Fb and are having trouble with the combo CO2/LP detector. The CO2 portion of the detector keeps going off (blinking red light). My 12V batteries are completely charge so that can't be causing the warning. I also don't have anything on (frig, water heater, stove) and the propane tanks are turned off. Has anyone else had problems with the detectors?

First, it's CO, not CO2. CO2 keeps your carbonated beverages bubbly, while CO kills!

CO detectors are notoriously finicky. If it's a new unit, I'd just have the dealer swap the detector out, rather than fool with it....

Does it have a small 9 volt battery in it that may be low?
What model and brand is it?

Below is our past experience with a CO / LP Combo Unit in our motor home. We appreciate the numerous people from the forum who gave us helpful assistance.

In August 26, 2011, we wrote in to the forum--
"We have a 2011 Forest River Forester-32 ft Class C & love it. But, we have one problem... The LP / CO detector keeps going off. We've followed all troubleshooting instructions from the manual. Has anyone had this same problem?"

December 6, 2011, we wrote in again to the forum--
"Regarding an update on the LP / CO detector that kept going off since August on our 2011 Forest River Forester-32 ft Class C Motorhome... After making several phone calls, we took it in to have it replaced with a new one in September. Went out on a trip in November, by the 3rd day... detector was going off again. It's in the shop once again, trying to figure out what is making the detector go off. Any other clues out there?"

September 19, 2012, wrote in to the forum one last time--
"Back in August 2011, we had been having problems with our LP/CO Detector Combo Unit in our Forester 3011 DSF. The LP / CO detector kept going off at all hours. Took it in to the dealership twice to do tests for leaks, replacing combo unit, etc... No luck. We had followed all troubleshooting instructions from the manual, asked the company's rep for assistance & reached out to people in the Forest River Forum. We want to thank everyone for their tips; but most of all to the person on the FR forum who told us to separate both units. Somehow, the LP/CO detector combo unit wasn't working properly in our motorhome; even with a brand new one that was put in.
Finally, on the third time into the dealership in April 2012, we told them to separate both units & place them in different areas. We recently got back from a 6 week trip & it's been working like a charm. Once again, THANKS everyone for your suggestions!"

Today is Wednesday, May 15, 2013... both separate units are working great.
