Never said I hated it. In fact mine still works after 5 years. Albeit the remote is sporadic at best. Sound quality is not the greatest is my only complaint. Instead of more features I personally would like to see you improve sound quality.[/COLOR]

Bob:

Make sure there is a HDMI out to the tv's!!! i know its fairly obvious but if you don't have that then there is no point in the HDMI connection or blu-ray lol.

Also another reason for hdmi is for satellite receivers and my cable box lol!

Bob, I appreciate what you are doing.
I believe you when you say Concertone is cleaning up their
act.

Brand new trailer day one at home.
Dealer was 200 miles away
MY first experience with a concertone was it would not
turn down. Volume level 1 would run you right out of
bed! Volume level 0 was no sound at all.
Unit number 2 was almost as bad PLUS it had a horrible hum
and it hissed all the time, CD, FM radio, DVD hiss all the
time.
Number 3 was better but still hissed.
I was tired of messing with it and so I left it in there.
Number 3 died when it was 2 years old.
It would refuse to shut off.
OR it would turn itself on in the middle of the night.
NO it was not the alarm. Or it wouldn't turn on.
I'd pull the power fuse to "re-boot it" over and over
to eventually get it to where it would play a movie for us.
I would hazard a guess that it had 100 hours on it.

I threw it in the garbage and put in a Jensen.
Guess what??
Jensen number 1 worked fine right out of the box.

Concertone "might" be on par NOW but it sure as hell
wasn't as recently as 2 years ago.
Concertone has a LOT of bad reputation to overcome

Good luck. I really hope we can meet up at next years
manufacturer to dealer RV show here in Louisville.

That does not really help...

Can you check out Concertone® Product Gallery and see if you can determine which model?

Thanks

After 2 months - we still do not have anything working on our concertone system except the stereo. We cannot get it to work with our newer TV, not sure if it is because it is LED or HDTV. We did send in the older concertone model for the newest $500 version which we received and spent two weeks of re-wiring to put it in, even after buying a special harness - which did not work. Repeated phone calls to concertone and voicemails - apparently Bob was on a business trip...and still no luck! Take our word for it, if you are looking for a stereo it works ok - if you want it to be a home theater - don't bother. An HDMI jack would be a good start, but lots of other issues too...
