New Dometic refrigerator seems to work fine, but beeps every couple of minutes. Anyon

On gas and 120v. Door closed solid, light goes out (checked it). Just picked up new RPod 171 yesterday and thought was okay.

Did you fill the propane tanks they are shipped empty. If you are running on battery power you need to have propane. The fridge will not run on battery power.

The fridge should change over to shore power automatically when connected to the 30/50 Amp service. If you are plugged in at home to a standard outlet you are probably not getting 30 amp service, only 15 -20 amp. You should consider installing a dedicated 30 amp service line at home that you can connect to.

It was happening at the dealer as well and thought it was okay when I left. Fridge works fine on lp and 120v, but then would beep every few minutes on either setting. Manual says door open alarm. I jiggled door light switch and the light cover and now doesn't beep. Might have been loose connection in light switch.
