Question New Member with Multiple Tech Questions

Greetings from a new member.

We recently purchased a 2009 Flagstaff 831FKBSS from a private owner.

The TT is equipped with a Concerttone ZX600 and Concertone LCD200T television. Reading the instruction manuals and card, I get the impression these two units are supposed to work together.

Question 1. According to the ZX600 book, I should be able to display a series of setup screens for the TV. I have tried this several times and it does not seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

Question 2. The ZX600 has a DVD player. Can a DVD in the ZX600 show the picture on the LCD200T TV?

Question 3. When connecting my Dish HD tuner to the TV through the Satellite/CATV patch connection, the picture quality is terrible and very snowly. What is wrong?

Question 4. Does anyone know who manufactured the LCD200T? I want to obtain a remote code to use on my Dish IR3.2 remote.

Being a prior owner of a Forest River Salem 26FLS (Destroyed by wind and hale in ND in 2010), I have setup satellite connections all over the U. S. without the trouble I am running into with the Concertone setup.

Any insight into working with this setup would be greatly appreciated.

1) Probably have the radio or TV on the wrong setting. Try different inputs.
2)Yes
3) There is a splitter in the line that is killing your picture.
4) Concertone now has their own web site. Also look up Bob Fields. He is working for Concertone and should be able to help you out

If they split your incoming sat/cable coax (as many as 2 splitters) your picture quality is going to be bad.

My suggestion is to run your sat coax directly to your reciever to eliminate bad coax and splitters .
If your picture is then clear you know you have a bad splitter or coax within.

Resolved Question 1. Menu setup screens are accessed through the TV menu setup, not the ZX600 as the card instructions and book implied.

Resolved Question 2. DVD player is accessed through the AV setting using "Auto" on the TV.

Resolved Question 3. Connected using a HDMI cable and the "HDMI" setting using "Auto" on the TV.

Question 4 still needs resolution.

Thanks for the information supplied to give me clues to continue.
