Hi Everyone and "Thank You" in advance for your feedback. I have a 10 year old Dometic 2652 Fridge that is freezing everything solid. I have replaced the thermistor without success so I replaced the lower board also with out success. A couple other strange things. When I shut the fridge off at the Brow board the pilot stays on ?? Also when the "Check" light at the brow board comes on...which is shortly after the fridge hits about 10 degrees below freezing, the pilot continues to stay on... ?? The only way to shut the fridge off is to shut off the propane supply. The fridge works fine on AC power. It's got me stumped. Any ideas?
Thanks.
NO expert at all, but kind of sounds like the valve that should shut the gas off on the fridge is not functioning properly.
Since it works on AC, have to believe the thermostat is ok, but as I understand them, as long as the pilot is going, the fridge is cooling basically.
