No channels on the TV (Antenna)

First I'd like to say that I apologize if this has been posted many times before, which I'm sure it has. But, here I go anyhow: I am no longer receiving any television stations when using the antenna. I did initially but the past few times out, we have not received any channels at all. I checked the cable at the connection near the tv and they are all snug. Also, the booster/amplifier light does come on and shows that it is functioning, at least according to the green light.

So, I've read some possible solutions, nothing concrete, and I thought that maybe I would try here, which I should have done first. Can the amplifier/booster still be bad, even though the green light comes on? Can the cable be bad, which I find hard to believe. Or can it be the antenna? Can that be bad or is it bad? Now, I assuming that the only way to check the connection at the antenna is to pull it away from the roof and crack the seal, correct? Anyone experience this before? Is there another avenue that I should check that I haven't specified? I appreciate the help and look forward to anything you can add. Here is the TT I have, listed below.

2016 FR Cherokee Limited 27dbh

Thank you,

Rich

First thing is, are there any OTA stations to receive? In other words, does it do this at all locations, even close to major cities?

And did you use remote to set TV to OTA and then do a scan?

There are Zero stations that we receive (OTA), at the campground and at home, just minutes outside of Chicago city limits. I've used the remote and also the tv buttons to set up and scan. We use to receive some but now, none.

Check for a blown fuse. I had the same problem in a previous RV and the green light came on in spite of the fuse for the amp being open.

That is one thing that I did not read about. I will check that. I'm going to assume it's located with the rest of the fuses in the fuse box?

In advance, if it's not the fuse but chance?

It sounds like you haven’t done a channel scan.

I've done several, as in at least a dozen times, channel scans since discovering the problem. That's how I would have to set up the tv every time we had it out. The last few times were no different, except no channels.

Your problem could be either coax related or a faulty power injector board. My tv received great signals the first season. Following seasons it got progressively worse each year. The third year while I was checking out the coax cables I took the switch plate out of the wall and the stations reception came back. I traced it down to bad solder joints on the board. I replaced the switch plate and all was good. My TT is on a seasonal site so the reception should have never changed.

Check your connection on the roof at the antenna. Mine corroded and lost the signal. Made a new splice and all is good. I also did all the inside checks to no avail!

Screwing off and reconnecting every plug to clean the connections while being careful not to bend the center wire is a good start. Make sure the signal source is set to AIR before scanning. Retrace in your mind EVERYTHING your grandchild touched!! As a near last resort, get a grandchild to fix it.
