No outside video from dvd player

Well, first weekend out with new camper, Grey wolf 25rl, and checking to make sure all goodies work. No dvd video outside. Got it inside , sound inside and out. Took the access panel off in cabinet to stereo dvd and all wires hooked up,see where video output is split ,no problems there. Any of had this problem. If so what was the fix. Thanks guys learned a lot from reading the forum.

The outside plug in's will not work through the radio/dvd player on Grey Wolf's. My last TT (Grey Wolf 28BH 2012) would not do it either. The TV that came with it also had a built in DVD player on the side of the TV. Thats the only way we could watch DVD's outside.

If your video output from the DVD player is "composite video" (RCA yellow plug) I believe an amplified splitter is required for routing to more than one receiver.

My guess is the guy didnt know. He probably does walk through's on 20 different model's and can't keep all the features straight. Probably doesn't own one either.

Doesn't work on our wolf pack either. Can'y get any TV reception at all on outside plug. I traced as far as I can besides cutting into the bottom seal. As of now I plug into the wall mount at the tv/radio and run the wires out the window to the TV. Had to cut a hole in the screen. One of these days I will install a cable inlet on the hook up side of the trailer and run the wire under the tt to an outlet on patio side. Yes I know there is already a tv/sat/aux jacks there but they don't work and I don't want to cut the cover to see. We also bought a TV with a built in DVD and that's how we watch DVDs.

On our '13 28bh, the outside jacks worked fine. I think you need to check the wiring at the dvd player again, making sure to find the extra RCA that heads off towards the outside jacks. I find quite the nest of wires, some not hooked up correctly.
