No Radio reception

My Cherokee is only 3 weeks old and no radio reception on FM even with the booster antenna on. I have no problem with a Walmart $60 stereo but this sweet touch system I now have won't work. Help

On our 2011 Rockwood the antenna connection to the roof came undone. Had to remove the antenna from the roof, take out the radio so that we could get to the wire and hook it back up to the roof antenna. I used loctite on the threads so that it wont come apart again.

The booster button only works the TV antenna; not the radio. The radio antenna is the one on the spring. It might have come undone (or never connected) behind the radio control head. I would start looking there.

Ill try both solutions but my camper doesn't have the spring wire antenna it's part of the tv antenna, it's a flying saucer looking thing and the dealer has no clue what the problem is. They think it is the booster (amplifier). But the amp comes on.

You know who makes the antenna and amp? Is it a Winegard Roadstar?

http://www.winegard.com/sensar/roadstar.php

Note that it does NOT have an AM/FM radio antenna in it.

The RS1500 in omnidirectional and does not turn.
It also does not have a radio antenna in it.
If there is no radio antenna installed, that could be why the radio does not work.

"Compact amplified omni-directional antenna continuously receives VHF/UHF/FM signals from all directions without adjustment."

Herk, this is from the desc. Looks like it does have fm? I have the same and its terrible. Maybe a email to them is due.

Thanks

JT I agree because I have friend that bought a Cherokee 264bh and has the same problem with the same antenna. But who gets the complaint Forest River for using the junk or Winegard ? I just want FM and with it being Brand New I'm not about to install something else and void any warranty's especially at the cost of my new party shack you would think there would not be a problem. I guess that's why my tv has no stations also.
