No tv channels on brand new Patriot

Hello I am new to this forum my problems is we just bought a new 2012 forrest river patriot edition and while at dealership the tv had channels galore we get it home and cannot pick up a single one. Booster is on, checked connections, ran memory channel, everything I can think of and still nothing I can watch dvds works fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Thanks

You will need to switch the TV's "input" to tuner.
The DVD's play might be playing on the "composite" input.

I assume the antenna is raised as well and aimed at the TV towers?

Yes booster is on the only thing I havent check for connection is on the atenna itself. Dealership serviceman told me on phone it was my TV untill I told him you can watch DVD's so then he says its a loose connection.

The remote for the TV has an "input" button.
Press it repeatedly until "tuner" appears.
You can not do a channel search from the menu unless tuner is selected on the TV.

There is also a remote (pardon the unintentional pun) possibility that the cables are bad. The crimps on the F-Connectors in the wall and on the roof might be no good.

Here is the manual for the booster box.
Looking at the back in your hand, the lower left cable is the one that goes to the roof.

Well that certainly will do it. Make sure the power is off to the antenna boost as 12VDC coexists on that wire with the TV signal.

Are you familiar with coax repairs and have the tools?

Cable TV Coax Cable Repair Kit 092-499

I would cut the coax below the bad spot and put an F connector on it. Then I would buy a short 12 inch or however long you needed already made coax jumper cable and a coax female to female union. Once you have all your stations coming in; I would wrap it with splicing tape (a self bonding rubber tape that is waterproof).
