Noisy Fridge

We got a new CKTS this spring with a double door Dometic fridge. It is very noisy when it runs. Dealer says it is because of two fans and the fact it is mounted in a slideout. Is he pulling my leg?

If you search on here, you will find that most have found the fans to be very noisy. They can be accessed through the outside, covers, may need a ladder. Remove them, go to the computer store, and upgrade them with ball bearing fans. Cost about $15 each. Yes, covered under warranty, but every time as a tech I wait a week on a new fan, it is louder than the one I pulled out. Save the tow to the dealer, and a week or more wait.
