Norcold Cleaning

I need to clean the cooling fins inside the refrigerator on my Norcold NX611. Is it safe to use Clorox cleanup and a soft brush to get the mildew out of it. I should not have left it closed after I shut it off last time. This time I left the door open after shutdown and dried the water out that accumulated in the freezer.

Anybody have any suggestions before my wife goes out there and sprays every chemical know to man on it.

Thanks
Kent

The Clorox should not hurt anything, but, if you leave bleach on the fins it could cause corrosion, just be sure to rinse well.

Thanks Chris,

In the meantime the wife sprayed lysol on it and went inside. We are in the house and wonder where that beeping is coming from. I go out and check and it set off the LP/CO detector.

I'll clean it with some Clorox tomorrow.
