Unlevel and the ammonia in the cooling unit crystalizes and blocks the passages. These fridges are not extremely sensitive. If you are level enough to be comfortable inside the camper you are fine. It is an issue for people that have sloped driveways and are packing for a trip.

If you are working on LP then level isn't an issue. Either AC heating element is shot or you just didn't give it long enough to cool down. I would give it another run before replacing the element. They do go out, but its fairly uncommon.

Also quit flipping the breakers!!! They are not designed to be switches that are constantly being turned off and on. You should never have to touch your breakers. I use the one on the power pedestal when hooking to camp power. Make sure its off, connect, turn it on. When leaving, turn it off then disconnect. RV breakers stay on, all the time.

Yes, this ^^^^^

I was too confused to help when I read in the first post "if ii kick the breaker it go to Lp". Since I never flip internal breakers off and therefore mine are always on, I assumed you were turning OFF a breaker. I no longer have a Norcold refrigerator, so I'll ask other knowledgeable and interested members, could this refrigerator have a blown fuse in the back? My Dometic has two glass fuses under a cover on the back.

Don't have a Norcold fridge but here is an owners manual link
http://www.thetford.com/wp-content/u...ers-Manual.pdf
Doesn't look like it would give a failure code for element. Also check fuses/reset
Hope this helps

I'm still confused on this whole..."Kicking the breaker" thing. What is the reason for shutting off the breaker ? To test it ? is it something someone told you to do ? I'm curious.

OP's unit is Model N811. This guide covers N4xx and N5xx although there are probably common features.
