Hello all, I have the same problem. 6 gal Suburban, Oxygenics showerhead. And currently in Az where the water coming out of the ground is pretty warm. Previous camper had Atwood WH which had a higher temp, but same showerhead. I always use a minimum hot water flow (just enough to create a weak spray with Oxygenics head) and temper it with cold. I used to get 12 or 13 minutes out of Atwood; this WH, only about 6 minutes if I am lucky. I have checked all the things mentioned and then some; no solution.

Might want to check the part no.s on the high limit switches and find out what temperature they are. I changed both of mine from, IIRC, 130D to 142D.

OldCoot,,just learned on a related thread that the optional high limit switch exists. Where did you get it?
Somewhere I read, and it makes sense, that as hot water goes out of WH cold comes in, and diminishes the temp of the hot water. So it also makes sense that a tank full of hotter water might stay hotter longer!
And guessing mine is the factory standard of 130, at least according to the manual.
