Outdoor Coaxial Cable

Hi, This year will be my first year camping in my new 22ft travel trailer so I was just wondering how long of a coax do you think I would need and can you recommend a good outdoor coax cable?

Thanks
-Shawn

coaxial cable

We carry about 75' on an old mig welding wire spool for our Dish Satellite. Seldom have to use over about 20', but it has come in handy at times when you have to get out of the trees.

I carry 3 25 foot coax cables with a few Female/Female connectors to string them out as needed. Most times I only need one; but have used two several times and needed all 75 foot once. I also carry a splitter as I needed to share a cable connection with another camper when his was bad.

I too carry three 25's, this way you can tailor the length to your needs. I also carry a crimping tool, coax tips and strippers (the tool). In a pinch I can make repairs.

I carry a cable/RJ-45 repair kit as well. I have not needed it for myself (yet); but there are 3 happy campers out there that I have gotten back in operation using it.
