Outside Coax

We have a 2018 Cherokee 304R. On the camping side of the camper there are two coax connections under a cover (one silver, one gold). I'm guessing that one is Satellite/Cable and the other is antenna? Am I on the right track?

One should be Satellite and the other Cable.
Your tv should connect to the roof antenna, through the antenna booster plate, inside the trailer.

Evidently they aren't labeled - but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. On our Cardinal we have three. One was labeled SAT one labeled AUX and one labeled CABLE.

I tried hooking up our satellite but it never worked until I pulled the back panel and found that the SAT and CABLE were reversed. The AUX had nothing connected to the back of the input.

Once I reversed SAT and CABLE both worked fine.

Bottom line...labeled or not, it's going to be a trial-and-error process most likely.
