Outside Speakers Not working

I have a new (2013) Work and Play 38RLS. It is equipped with a Jensen Stereo system and has four speakers inside (2 in Garage/2 in living quarters) and 2 outside. The two outside speakers do not operate. I have looked through the Jensen operator's manual and tried several methods with the 'Fade/Balance' features of the stereo to no avail.

Is there a switch or other feature to get the outside speakers to work?

Do you have the A B C buttons? I don't have a Jenson, but it sounds like the channel that controls the outside speakers isn't ON. Good Luck.

My Jensen has 'A', 'B' or 'A+B' on the front of the stereo tuner for inside and/or outside speaker selection.

No...This model (Jensen) is not equipped with A-B-C button(s). You did give me an idea to reread the manual and see if there is a feature to change the speaker channels.

what model is it? my 965 has the speaker selector buttons My A selector does the 4 inside speakers and C does the outside. B does nothing, but would do bedroom if I had speakers, I guess.

It's broke right now tho and I am waiting for FR to send me a new one.

Mine is the Jensen Model #DV2011. CD/MP3/VWA/DVD Player/Receiver with PA. Looked through the manual (again) and there is no speaker channel selector.

I was curious so I also looked at the manual for the unit, it is the same audio output as you would have in a car or pickup etc. Front, Back - Left, Right speakers with fade and balance. Being installed in a new TT makes me go back to your original question and I would think Forest River would have installed some kind of switches to select inside/Outside etc or not include outside speakers on the unit.

Now having rambled on, I am wondering if the speaker system might be covered in your TT user manual? Perhaps some switches behind a panel door, just a thought I know has already gone through your thought as well. I am not familiar with your TT so good luck with figuring this out.

Enjoy your toy hauler and camping -
