Oven temp continues to climb despite setting

Has anyone else had this problem? I bought an oven thermometer to check the temperature. No matter what temp the oven is set at the actual temp in the oven continues to climb. It has reached 550 degrees when set at 300 degrees and this was when I turned it off. Theres no telling how high it would continue to go. I am afraid it will set fire to the camper.

Sounds as if the thermostat needs to be checked!

Just read my instruction manual and it says that the, "oven thermostat was calibrated at the factory and is not field adjustable".

True, but it can be replaced I believe.

If it's still under warranty, contact Suburban with the details of your problem and they should send you a replacement thermostat.

I currently have the trailer at the dealer for some warranty work but I am concerned that the service department does not appear interested in addressing this issue. Good idea about contacting Suburban, I will be calling them right away to see what they say. Thanks
