penguin 2 A/C

Has anyone tried the new Penguin 2 air conditioner unit in the their bedroom yet. My camping buddy is thinking about changing out the current one he has because it is so loud. Was wondering if it was any quieter.

I have a Penguin Low profile unit on mine from what I am told, Mine runs good but it is loud as hell land the whole bedroom vibrates!!! I try not to even turn it on. It is in the shop right now and they are supposed to be swapping it out under warranty.

I also have a second 13,500 btu AC in the bedroom and it is loud as well.

We have a 2nd According in the bed room that is a low profile penguin. The. First was very loud and would wake me up when the compressor would cut on. It was replaced under warranty and now it is great. No problems at all. I think that there might of been a bad batch that went out. There was a ton of complaints last spring and a lot of people putting kits on and getting them replaced. I think k they now have the problem fixed

Know f I could only get a heat strip to fit mine

From what we were told, the compressor as mounted wrong in about 1000 units, land they are noisy.
