playing the Ipod

I have not been able to get the Genesis 3.0 system to play my Ipod. I have followed the directions and plugged a 3/5 mm audio cable into the au1 outlet and set the display to match but no sound comes through. What else should I try?

Yes I have. It is full volume and I checked to make sure the genesis unit was turned up as well.

Inputs are correct & the cord works. Is there a reset button on the unit? I haven't tried that.

I think lower left there's a little hole to stick a paper clip in.
